HERE SOME INFORMATION ON KWAMIE:

Kwamie Liv is a Danish/Zambian singer songwriter. Spending the majority of her life traveling around, she has lived in Denmark, Zambia, Turkey, Sweden, South Africa, Kenya, Ireland and Bangladesh resulting in her drawing her stories from a wide mix of influences, often rooted in an organic and raw sound. At the age of eight she often found herself singing stories to herself and her friends and by eleven she had picked up the guitar… The rest is history. Her journey has since seen her working with some of the world’s top songwriters, touring the UK and Ireland opening for Rick Astley, appearing on Bangladeshi television, Zambian prime time news, working and unofficially playing in refugee camps on the Bangladesh/Burma border and most recently playing at the UNHCR 60th anniversary in Geneva resulting in her song for the occasion being used in their World Environment Day video. She has written hundreds of songs and her live folk/soul mix is one to experience. Currently she has been in the studio recording some new tunes…
